Esta campaña de sensibilización organizada por el Fons Valencià per la Solidaritat, tiene como objetivo dar a conocer la realidad de las mujeres de países en vías de desarrollo, acercando a la sociedad valenciana el testimonio de mujeres y de organizaciones que trabajan en el Sur por sus derechos y los de sus comunidades y municipios.Las invitadas al evento fueron Hilda Herrera y Barbarita Miranda, representantes de la Asociación de Mujeres Municipalistas del Ecuador (AMUME). AMUME es una asociación creada en 1993 y formada por concejalas y alcaldesas de 224 municipios de Ecuador. Amume promueve la participación de las mujeres en las instituciones a través de la ética política y de la transformación de las condiciones que generan opresión, exclusión, subordinación y discriminación sobre la vida de las mujeres y del conjunto de la sociedad ecuatoriana. El Alcalde, Jaime Ivars, agradeció la presencia de ambas mujeres remarcando el papel de vital importancia que representan en el ámbito de la búsqueda de la equidad plena y la vigilancia y cumplimiento de los derechos adquiridos por las mujeres. ********************************* Konferenz “Frau sein im Süden” am 5. März, 19.00 h Es ist ein Vergnügen, heute die Aussagen von Hilda Herrera und Barbarita Miranda zu hören, beide Repräsentanten der Vereinigung der der städtischen Frauen von Ecuador (AMUME). Diese gemeinnützige Vereinigung umfasst Ratsherren und Bürgermeister aus 224 Land- und Stadtgemeinden in Ecuador für die der Valencianische Solidaritätsfond eine Schule für politische Bildung von Frauen finanziert. Der Lebenslauf dieser bedeutenden Frauen ist sehr weit gespannt und ich möchte die herausragenden Aspekte jeder Einzelnen herausarbeiten: Hilda Herrera Tapia, ist akademisch ausgebildet in Soziologie, Verwaltung und Ingenieurwesen. Sie ist seit November 2009 Präsidentin der AMUME. Ihre politische und soziale Ausbildung hat zur Teilnahme an vielen internationalen Veranstaltungen geführt, wie z. B. dem internationalen Seminar über produktive Projekte in Madrid und dem Weltkongress der Jugend in Havanna. Alle ihre Anstrengungen sind auf die Gleichstellung der Frau gerichtet, genau wie ihre derzeitige politische Position: Abgeordnete in der Provinz Ibarra, wo sie z. Zt. Mitglied ist in den Komissionen für Planung, Erziehung und Kultur. María Barbarita Miranda, Ist Professorin für klinische Psychologie und hat einen “Master” in öffentlicher Gesundheit. Zur Zeit arbeitet sie bei AMUME als Dozentin in der Schule für politische Bildung der Frauen in lokaler Verantwortung und als Beraterin für die Abteilung humane Entwicklung. Wir hoffen, dass Ihnen die vorbereitete Präsentation gefällt und wünschen von ganzem Herzen, dass das Ziel dieser Kampagne, nämlich das Wissen über die Lebenswirklichkeit der Frauen, sich erfüllt. Vielen Dank ¡ ********************** PRESENTATION CONFERENCE “TO BE A WOMAN OF THE SOUTH” ON 5th MARCH at 19:00 Hours (first will speak Angelita followed by Jaime) It is a pleasure to be able to be provided today with the presence and the testimonies of Hilda Herrera and Barbarita Miranda, representatives of the Women's Association Municipalistas of Ecuador (AMUME). This non profit making group is made up of councilwomen and mayoresses of 224 rural and urban municipalities of Ecuador, to which the Valencian Fund for Solidarity finances a school of political vocation for women. The résumé of these two great women is very wide and I would like to highlight the aspects most emphasized from each one. Hilda Herrera Tapia, is licensed in Sociology and also Bachelor of Administration and Commercial Engineering. She is president of AMUME since November, 2009 and her political and social vocation has led to her taking part in many international events such as the International Seminar of productive Projects in Madrid and the world congress of youth in Havana. All her knowledge and practices are directed to obtain the equity of genre, which turns out to be reflected in her current political charge: Councilwoman of the Canton of Ibarra, where at present she is a member of the commissions of planning, education and culture. Maria Barbarita Miranda, is a doctor of Clinical Psychology and she has a Master in Public Health. At present she is employed at AMUME as teacher at the School of Political Vocation for women Autoridades Locales and Assessor of the Area of Human Development. We hope that you enjoy the presentation that they have prepared for us and we hope with all our heart that the intention of this campaign, which is the diffusion of the reality of the women, should be achieved completely.
